This Article regards Nod32 Anti Virus installed on the server and/or Exchange server. Updates are downloaded to the server and then mirrored in Network share. All desktops are updating from network share. (ex \\servername\nod32_upd) All Laptops are updating from the internet. (as they need to be able to update even if they are out of the Office)
NOD32 Clients Updates 1. To get Licenses for Nod32 Contact us You will receive separate email for every License ordered. In this scenario You will receive 2 Emails with license Keys and License files. - one Email with Licenses for Exchange - One Email with Licenses for Users (To use with Administrator Console) Unzip the licenses to the network share (ex. \\servername\resources ) Copy and paste license details to the text file. You can use notepad. Put this file in same network share as Licenses. You are ready to update now.
2. Login to the Server. Open NOD32 Remote Administrator Console. If you are getting an error this means the License has expired. Copy new License file to the install path of remote administrator (default- c:\program files\eset\ra\server\) Restart service "NOD32 Remote Administration Server" (go to menu → run and type services.msc to open services console) Open Remote Administrator window again. Connect to the server. Go to menu File/Renew License. Click Browse... button and browse for the new License file. Press OK. In the "New License Key" window You check expiration date. If the details are fine use "Upload To Server " Button.
3. Open NOD32 Control Center (Use tray or menu start to access it) Go to Update/Update and click on the right hand side "Setup" button Change License details there. Then press Ok
EXCHANGE LICENSE 1. Then go to "NOD32 System Tools/Nod32 System Setup" and click on the right hand side "Setup" button. New window will open. Go to the "License tab in this window" Click "Add..." option. Browse there for both Licenses. Check if Both of them are on the list. Click OK Your License Update for NOD32 is Finished. If some computers do not receive updates from network share automatically, you will need to Update License keys on every computer.
